James St Cooking School ¨Asian Food.

James street cooking school is a very interesting venue for  people interested in extending their cooking skills .

John Meredith and his wife Jo ( who initially trained under David Thompson  in Sydney )  are experienced chefs and have a variety of cooking classes each week to cater for everyone.

Carol conducts classes twice a year at the school , holding weekend “hands-on” classes at  the school at the valley in Brisbane, Australia.

In 2009,  the classes will run from the 16th and 17th May  with recipes from the Golden Triangle: Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Burma and Thailand

There may be other classes later in the year on Malaysian, Nonya and South Indian dishes around the Brisbane Ekka, in August. .

All classes will begin with a short history, culture and traditions before each of the lessons and these alone will give you sufficient background for your adventure into South East Asian cooking.
